This book contains The Reader’s Guide for a Day of Prayer for Eucharistic Revival with Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The dioceses of the United States began a three-year period of “Eucharistic Revival” on June 19, 2022, the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. The Eucharistic Revival seeks to return and rekindle divine life in the Church and the world through the Eucharist.

U.S. Catholics are encouraged to learn more about the Eucharist during this time, to pray more often and more fervently the Mass during these years, and to find inspiration to take Christ into their homes, workplaces, and culture.

The bishops discerned and called for a grassroots movement called the National Eucharistic Revival Movement. This Movement, from 2022 to 2025, is rekindling a living faith in the hearts of Catholics across America and will unleash a new missionary chapter at this pivotal moment in Church history.

The National Eucharistic Revival Movement is the joyful, expectant, grassroots response of the Church in the United States to the divine invitation to be united once again around the Eucharist, the source and summit of our faith.

Through the Eucharist, God desires to heal, renew, and unify the Church and the world.

The Congress named Our Lady of Guadalupe the Patroness of Eucharistic Mission because, as they wrote, “Our Lady of Guadalupe hastened to Elizabeth, bearing Jesus within her. She adores her Son’s Body and Blood at the Cross. She was present as the Spirit set the Apostles on fire with missionary love.”

The official National Eucharistic Revival Prayer ended with this prayer:

“Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of the Eucharist, pray for us.”
